Bold, rich and lasting. A lot of sweetness with rich creamy body, luscious acidity and a crisp sweet fruit and chocolate finish.

Roastmaster Comments: DBC Espresso Blend

A beautiful latte

The espresso blend offers a dense creamy body, tangy acidity and a crisp, sweet malty finish; Very much in the style of traditional Northern Italian Espresso.

GEOGRAPHIC PROFILE
Colombia: The Huila department is an area of privileged climate and soil located 1500-1800m (4920-5900ft) above sea level. It is the guardian of the Colombia Massif and is surrounded by fertile valleys and volcanoes. A very special Amazonic haze covers the vegetation year-round, providing the perfect environment for the growth and flourishing of the coffee trees with little or no need for shade.

Sumatra: Situated 800-1500m (2625-4925ft) above sea level, Sumatra anchors the western most reach of the Malay Archipelago. Positioned directly on the equator, it is the fourth largest island in the world. Whether the soil and climate or the primitive processing methods are responsible, the qualities of Sumatran coffees are truly unique. Coffee from this region is raised on tiny plots scattered over high-terraced clay plateaus, without the benefit of shade or chemicals and using only rudimentary tools.
